I am finally cleaning house and getting rid of some books and hoping to get some more although that is probably the last thing I need since I have a huge "too read" pile! I've always loves to read, it is my escape from reality - LOL! Before I had kids I used to average 1-2 books a week but now it is more like 2 a month sometimes more on a good month.

My favorite books growing up were Sweet Valley High, Christopher Pike books, Judy Blume, Babysitter's Club and really anything that I could get my hands on - I wasn't too picky. My favorite author as an adult has always been Anne Rice but she's gone a little off the deep end lately so I may be revising that. I also love Alice Hoffman, Anne Rivers Siddons, Rona Jaffe, the Harry Potter books (of course) and I recently just read Stephenie Meyer's Twilight trilogy and really enjoyed them. My favorite book of all time is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betsy Smith.
